A single goal was enough for the hosts to complete a recent double over both the Warrington teams after a largely uninspiring encounter at Hurst Cross.
The decisive moment arrived ten minutes before the break as a pass from captain Luke Burke found Jason Gilchrist running free through the middle and he slid the ball home despite the best efforts of Liam Isherwood in the visitors' goal.
The action started on a rainy surface with James Hardy scuffing his shot wide for Ashton after a one-two with Gilchrist before Callum Rowe made a vital challenge on Elliott Morris as he prepared to shoot from Joseph Rodwell's cross.
Just before the goal a great run by Rodwell ended with him shooting straight into Jordan's Eastham's arms and four minutes before the interval Rodwell went close again as Burke's tackle sent the ball into his path from where he sent a raking effort narrowly wide.
Just before the hour Hardy's break saw the ball break to Will Tomlinson whose fierce effort tested Isherwood before Gilchrist headed Alex Byrne's corner past the far post.
Sean Newton then won a corner from Tomlinson's crossfield pass with Gilchrist heading Alex Byrne's delivery past the far post and Hardy's effort close in was blocked after Lusiama had turned on to Byrne's cross.
Byrne then robbed a defender before seeing Gilchrist just denied close in with Byrne turning the loose ball wide before Gilchrist got insufficient contact on his header from Burke's cross and another long free kick from Byrne saw Darius Osei's header turned away by Isherwood.
In the final minute of added time a loose ball saw Max Thompson's volley force Eastham to concede a corner which saw James Harris fire the loose ball well over the top.
