Steve Cunningham's side faced mixed fortunes during the back-to-back Bank Holiday action.
A 2-1 victory on home turf prevailed over Rushall Olympic on Good Friday thanks to goals from James Hardy and a last-minute winner from Callum Spooner.
However, Easter Monday would see the Robins fall short to a 1-0 defeat away to Tameside rivals Hyde United.
With three games remaining of the current season, Ashton will be aiming to accumulate maximum points to secure a top half finish.
Opposition Watch
Workington have three fixtures to do their all to secure their Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division status of Step 3 for another season. They are currently situated in 18th place, just outside of the relegation zone by one point with Morpeth Town breathing down their necks.
In comparison to the Robins, they are seven positions and eight points behind after 37 games - highlighting how closely contested this campaign has truly been.
Last time out, they earned a 1-1 draw at home to Cleethorpes Town in front of a crowd just short of 1,500. Their resurgence has very much been in the works since the turn of the new year, and the Reds have taken 21 points from 30 in their last 10 league fixtures.
Last Time We Met
Both sides last faced off against each in August at Borough Park. Steven Rigg opened the scoring for the hosts with a twice-taken penalty on the stroke of half-time. But within three minutes of his introduction in the second half, Luca Navarro equalised with a low-angled strike to earn a point on the road.
