Steve Cunningham’s side will look to take Saturday’s improved performance in their narrow 1-0 defeat to table-topping Hednesford into tomorrow’s cup clash with Trafford.
A Word From The Gaffer
Speaking after Saturday’s loss, Steve Cunningham said: “I thought we were outstanding. I think that will be our best loss of the season.
“It was two good teams in a very good game of football and I’d like to think the neutrals and fans of both teams enjoyed today’s game because it was really high quality.”
Looking ahead to tomorrow's cup tie, he said: “We will be strong against Trafford. We want to use it as a game to go and win and build some momentum.”
Opposition Watch
The visitors have struggled to find form in the 25-26 campaign, sitting rock bottom (22nd) in the Northern Premier League - West Division.
Trafford have found just two league victories this season and are winless in their last three outings.
Last Time We Met
Both sides last faced off in the Isuzu FA Trophy during the 24/25 campaign, which went the way of the Robins as they secured a goal heavy 5-2 win over Trafford.
