The Robins will be hoping to return to winning ways after falling to defeat against Stockton Town on home turf last weekend.
Enock Lusiama broke the deadlock for Steve Cunningham's side a quarter of an hour into the fixture, but Kevin Hayes would go onto equalise shortly after the interval, and then convert a penalty on 82 minutes to seal three points for the North East outfit.
A Word From The Gaffer
Speaking after the defeat to Stockton, Steve Cunningham said: "We've got to understand where we are now; we've just not been good enough and that's a bitter pill to swallow.
"We've got to go now and try and a get a win against Morpeth. I get on really well with Craig (Lynch) - it will be a really good game on a good surface where we can go and play."
He continued by stating: "We're hurting as a group, but we just need to galvanise ourselves and finish the season on a high."
Opposition Watch
The Highwaymen are battling at the foot of the table, occupying 20th place on 28 points after 29 games.
Last weekend, Morpeth suffered a damaging 1-0 loss away to fellow strugglers Workington Town, who are rooted to the bottom of the league standings. Luke Hunter's 89th minute winner helped the Reds close the gap to just two points to their opponents, albeit they have played an extra game (30).
Ahead of Saturday's clash at Craik Park, the Highwaymen have announced the signing of vastly experienced left-sided player Shane Ferguson. The former Newcastle United and Millwall Northern Irishman most recently played for Derry City in the League of Ireland Premier Division, and has 57 international caps to his name.
Last Time We Met
Both sides last faced off against each in November at Hurst Cross where a thrilling five-goal matchup took place. The Robins fought back from one-nil and two-one down to win 3-2, thanks to an Enock Lusiama brace and a Sean Newton penalty.
