Steve Cunningham’s side will be looking for their first set of back-to-back league wins since October, after Callum Spooner’s late strike earned The Robins all three points when they took on Rushall Olympic on Good Friday.
A Word From The Gaffer
Speaking after Good Friday’s 2-1 victory over Rushall, Steve Cunningham said: “Hopefully today was just a little token gesture back for the support we have had because we haven’t deserved it in the last couple of weeks.
“I thought every man to a tee was unbelievable today.”
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s Easter Monday derby, the gaffer said: “Going to Hyde will be tough.
“I’ve got the utmost respect for them as a club and people but we are going there to try and win a game of football, hopefully we can piggyback off this performance.”
Opposition Watch
The Tigers find themselves on the brink of the relegation zone, currently occupying 18th position, just one point off the drop with four games left to save their season.
Hyde trail The Robins by 11 points after playing the same amount of fixtures (36).
The hosts have found form in their last two outings, smashing Stockton 3-0 at home and most recently snatching a point away at Guiseley in their fight for survival.
Last Time We Met
The two sides last faced off on Boxing Day at Hurst Cross, where the spoils were shared thanks to Charlie Hayes-Green, who rescued a point for The Robins in the 94th minute after Ben Kershaw put The Tigers ahead in the final minute of normal time.
