The Pitmen are tied on points (76) with Hebburn Town at the top of the league standings heading into the final day of the regular 40-game season, with five goals separating themselves in second place compared to the Hornets sitting in prime position to be crowned champions.
Steve Cunningham's side, however, still have one final task ahead to finish on a high and potentially placed in eighth should results favour. Tomorrow's fixture will see Sean Newton make his 150th appearance for the Robins.
Last weekend, the Robins drew 1-1 at home to Guiseley. Kyle White broke the deadlock for the visitors after 24 minutes, but just after the hour-mark, Jason Gilchrist equalised to savour a point.
A Word From The Gaffer
Speaking after the draw against Guiseley, Steve Cunningham said: "Regardless of the result, and next week's result, we're in the league, it doesn't matter what position you're in.
"What I said to the lads was 'it's the last home game, it's the last game here as a group of players because there's going to changes'. So we wanted them to go out and represent themselves, represent their families, and the football club in the best possible way."
Opposition Watch
Hednesford have enjoyed a stellar Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division season following their promotion to the league this time last year. They have won 22, drawn 10, and lost just seven fixtures.
Last time out they secured a hard-fought 1-0 win on the road at Cleethorpes Town thanks to Omari Sterling-James' 83rd minute goal.
Last Time We Met
Both sides faced off against one another at Hurst Cross back in November. Ahkeem Rose scored the only goal of the game to claim three points for the Pitmen.
