The Robins will no doubt be aiming to conclude the league campaign on a high in Tameside, before a final day trip to Hednesford Town, following their 2-1 victory last weekend over Workington.
Two goals in quick succession from Al Byrne and Darius Osei just after the interval ensured three points were added to Steve Cunningham's side's tally despite a late fightback from the Cumbria-based outfit.
A Word From The Gaffer
Looking ahead to the penultimate game of the season, Steve Cunningham said: "We've still got a lot to play for in terms of pride. Our fans are all spending money, and hard-earned money by the way, to get to these games and away.
"Hopefully we can sign off from home with a win."
Opposition Watch
This time last year, both Ashton and Guiseley were contending play-off positions, but this time around, it's been a different story.
This fixture will be the Lions' final game of the season; they currently occupy 14th place on a total of 47 point - four positions and four points fewer than the Robins.
Last time out, they suffered a 2-5 defeat at home to FC United of Manchester.
Last Time We Met
Both teams came up against each other at Nethermoor in November last year. The Robins stormed into a two-goal cushion courtesy of Luca Navarro, however, a second half comeback completely shocked Ashton.
Within 13 seconds of his introduction after half-time, Leo Farrell grabbed one back. He scored his second in-between goals from Ollie Brown and George Goodman which would cap off the perfect turnaround for the hosts.
