On Saturday, Steve Cunningham’s side clinched all three points following a dramatic late turnaround, defeating Morpeth Town 3-2 at Hurst Cross.
A composed Enoch Lusiama brace was enough to get the Robins over the line in a breathtaking encounter, moving up to 6th in the Pitching In Northern Premier League.
A Word From The Gaffer
Speaking after Saturday’s victory at home to Morpeth, Steve Cunningham said: “We were outstanding today, the last three performances we’ve played really well.
“I told the lads at half time that this is the turning point in our season.
“You’ve got to dig deep, we talk about trying to get promoted so we’ve got to showcase those abilities, especially the quality of players we’ve got in our group.”
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s cup tie, he said: “We are going to try a few things with certain players in certain positions, to see if that can be a plan going forward.”
