Ashton United regret to inform supporters of both sides that due to the unprecedented hot weather, Tuesday’s pre-season friendly against Ossett United has been called off.

​This was a tough decision, but has been made in the best interest of our playing surface which has been undergoing extensive summer renovations.

The extra time without a game being played will allow for the surface to fully establish ahead of the new season.

​We would like to thank Ossett United for their understanding and we wish them well in their preparations for the upcoming season.
